Pennies From Heaven

God gave me a penny from heaven today

I found it on the floor in the hallway

I was so surprised,

it was my first

My soul had been parched,

it quenched my thirst

it made me feel good i

made me feel happy

God was saying he cared

and was watching over me

as a calm settled over me

a peace that cannot be seen

Thank you God, for this gift from above

it proves to me, the Father’s love
