Angels (a poem)

Angels watching over you

and angels watching me

God sent an angel to Daniel

and sent an angel to Mary

Jesus has an army

of angels to guide and save us

from the enemy

They keep us safe

and sometimes they appear to us

It’s such of mystery

of God’s great grace and mercy

Once God sent me a dream

of angel choirs singing

I didn’t know the words

I didn’t know the meaning

They are a gift from the Father above

He has sent them

to save me from death

time and time again.
